Children's Ministry

In the Children's Ministry classroom, we intentionally serve our children by ministering the Truth of God’s Love by the Holy Spirit, as revealed in Jesus Christ

Our purpose is to establish a foundational understanding of the Gospel while making new friends, learning cognitive skills, and having fun!

Our curriculum is carefully assessed and chosen to help children develop in our Seven Pillars: Prayer, Praise, Worship, Obedience, Study, Stewardship, and Evangelism. By doing this, we are preparing our children to become effectual prayer warriors, thankful instruments of praise, true worshipers of God, obedient children of God (and parents!), diligent students of the Word, wise stewards of God’s gifts, and compassionate evangelists of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Miss Natalie, team leader

Hello! I’m Natalie. I’ve been with Aletheia since 2016. Though I was raised in the church, it wasn’t until 2010 that I made my relationship with Christ my own. I often reflect back on the tremendous impact that attending Sunday School has had on my life (even though I didn’t realize it at the time). That is what fuels my passion for serving our children and community. God’s everlasting love, grace, sacrifice, and power is a gift that every child should know.

Fun fact: I have three feline fur babies that bring me joy daily!

Frances Concepcion, Teacher

Hi I am Ms. Frances, I have been a member of Aletheia CC in Hacienda Heights the past 6 yrs. I have always loved to teach and was called to CM at the age of 18.  Nothing brings me more joy than to see the children light up with excitement as they gain understanding about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Fun Fact: Sunflowers make me smile, my favorite pastime is hanging out with my fam, and I love collecting cool bags and totes of every sort.

Barbara barba, Teacher

Hello I am Ms. Barbara, I have been a member of Aletheia Christian Church for 6 years, being a part of the children's ministry has been an enriching and fulfilling time in the Lord.  As we dig in and learn who God is in each lesson, we have lots of fun while navigating His teachings. It has brought me much joy to see how the Holy Spirit is moving in each child year after year to further His Kingdom.

Fun fact; I enjoy doing craft & baking projects with my 4-year-old granddaughter in my spare time!

Miss Cindy, Teacher

Hi, my name is Cindy. I’ve been attending Aletheia for 3 years. I love children and I love Jesus. Every child is a blessing from God! I was happy when the opportunity came in Children’s Ministry and grateful to be given opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young children, especially to those that don’t know Him yet.

Fun fact about me is that I love cardigan sweaters! I wear them all year round.
